Join our HERIZEN™ all women sail training adventure in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Women Sailing and Self-Awareness in BC will discover the beauty of the Gulf Islands, San Juan Islands, Desolation Sound, the Gulf of Georgia and circumnavigation Vancouver Island July 2010. These coastal waters offer some of the best sailing for women in the world and are ideal for both beginners and experts alike.
Departing from Ladysmith (just south of Nanaimo) or other ports depending on where your sailing adventure begins, you will live and sail with women safely aboard the 46' SV Voyager while enjoying relaxed accommodation and cruising comfort. Laugh and have fun while sharing responsibility as a member of the crew. Let British Columbia be the backdrop as you challenge yourself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Women sail training will include sailing and self awareness techniques and the necessities for cruising BC waters located on the west coast of Canada including tides and currents, anchoring, safety and basic or intermediate sail techniques. Destinations are usually in sight and a string of islands offer multiple locations ideal for shelter. Enjoy the warm days and gentle breezes as you gain sailing skills and confidence. All of our programs are designed for women by women and provide a unique combination of sailing and self awareness.
Start your day cultivating vitality for optimal wellbeing through Qigong / yoga and meditation as your morning practice. Enjoy women sail training, sailing and self awareness and hiking.
All of our HERIZEN™ Women Sailing and self awareness voyages are designed by women for women. There will be a total of six women aboard each trip. Our BC women sail adventure is an active experience. Gain confidence, sailing skills, physical rejuvenation, and a renewed sense of self.

GETTING TO BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA:
Ladysmith (near Nanaimo) is your destination on Vancouver Island. You can fly into the Nanaimo or Victoria airports on Vancouver Island and then make your way to Ladysmith. Alternatively, fly into the Vancouver International Airport and then either take a small plane, a sea plane or ferry to Nanaimo. (other ports of departure will be announced)
