Valma Shakti Ji

Valma is a transformational trainer.  She discovered Kundalini Yoga 27 years ago while working in Chile.  Within a short time, Valma noticed the the beneftis of her Yoga Sadhana (practice) raised her level of awareness, allowed her to stay focused, calmer, healthy and present in her physical body. This was important to her as she had lost the use of her legs temporarily in the recovery of a spinal injury some years before.  In the continued exploration of Yoga and other healing modalities such as Qigong, Energy Mirrors, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Sound Healing, Attunement to Nature, Animal Communication, Spritual Iridology, Tarot, The Sedona Method, Jyotish Astrology including Palmistry, Sacred Painting, Ayurveda and further Self-Awareness Trainings she found her practice to create a bridge between the body, mind and the spirit and she believes this will also play an important role in the global awakening.  As an E-RYT 500 in Iyengar precision / Ashtanga Yoga and Traditional Hatha practice, Trantra and Chi Yoga flow are practices that Valma incorporates in her daily life as well as offerings in her women only adventure programs. Valma is a Registered / Certified Yoga and Ayurvedic Health Educator from the American Vedic Institute.  She is also holds Registration / Certification as an Ayurvedic Practitioner. Valma has certified as a Qigong Master and believes Yoga, Qigong and movement gets people into their bodies, deeply connects them to themselves, and more openly connects them with nature and others. Valma has travelled and studied extensively in India and many other locations in the world. Valma is registered with the North American Association of Ayurvedic Practitioners (AAPNA) and Yoga Alliance.  She is recognized by Yoga Alliance as a E-RYT and YACEP.  She is passionate about the study of Vedic Astrology and Astro Palmistry and how it can help individuals enhance their natural well-Being

Valma lives at the Clarananda Natural Living Yoga & Meditation Center, a beautiful desert oasis retreat near Todos Santos, Baja, Sur, Mexico.  She has furthered her education as a Permaculture Designer and incorporates sustainable natural living practices at Clarananda and in her daily life. In addition, Valma has offices in India and Canada.  “My purpose, says Valma is to be a mirror for other women, to share my knowledge and wisdom of life and empowering them to live their best life.
